Each year at our Lamp of Knowledge Celebration, we present our scholarship recipients with their award letters, and introduce our incoming cohort of NEW Scholars college readiness program participants.
Among friends, family, and supporters in the community, students proudly receive the well-deserved recognition that they’ve worked hard to earn, and our scholarship recipients have an opportunity to meet the donor of their scholarship!
This special event sends a powerful message to local youth that their community cares for them, supports them, and believes they can succeed.
