Board & Staff

Several members of the CollegeReady Board of Directors smile together at the 2023 Lamp of Knowledge Celebration

CollegeReady Culture

With a laser-like focus on supporting children and families, the mission-focused board and staff of CollegeReady is committed to positively impacting and creating opportunities for students of all backgrounds in Northeast Wisconsin.

Our donors believe that the gift of education is of vital importance, and must be made in order to develop strong future leaders and maintain a healthy community.

Our ability to utilize the talents of dedicated volunteers and a small, driven staff means more donor dollars go toward helping students, not big overhead costs.

  • “I have witnessed the financial power of a scholarship. The need to prepare kids for life after high school and assist with the financial burden are things everyone can understand.”

    Mike Hogan, Board Member
Vice President, Business Operations & Customer Experience at KI
  • “I love making an impact and being a part of something bigger. I myself was a scholarship recipient in high school and I know the HUGE difference it makes for students. This is my way of helping give my time, and giving back to the community.”

    Chelsea, Volunteer
  • “Looking for an easy way to make a lasting difference? I found a simple solution by volunteering to read scholarship applications, serve on the Board and donating to CollegeReady. There’s lots of ways to get involved, and the long-term impact on the lives of local students is immeasurable!”

    Susan Schoenberger, Board Member
Corporate Communications Manager, Marketing at Schneider
  • “The process of applying for scholarships is an educational one for students; it prepares them to be responsible for not only their grades, but also for their time commitments. They are learning the life lessons of being proactive about their future and engaged in the world around them.”

    Cindy Zuege, Board Member
Product Strategies Director at Schreiber Foods
  • “I am happy to be able to volunteer my time, energy and experience for students who need scholarship money to help them get thru college.”

    Kari, Volunteer
  • “As a university professor, I have seen firsthand the struggles of my students as they work extra hours and juggle their responsibilities to pay for college. I believe that scholarships offered by NEW Scholars and CollegeReady are instrumental in helping young people attend and graduate from college.”

    Professor at UW-Green Bay
  • “As a first generation college student I have a strong passion to assist others. This organization removes many of the road blocks.
    My heartfelt thank you!”
