CollegeReady provides financial need-based scholarships and college readiness programming to deserving students right here in Northeast Wisconsin.
We award about $500,000 in scholarships to local college-bound students every year, and through our college readiness program, annually we help about 200 middle and high school students graduate from high school and go to college.
We are a local organization, funded by local friends and donors, helping local students.
The U.S. Department of Education states that only one in 10 students from the lowest income families earn a bachelor’s degree, compared to 8 in 10 students from higher-income families.
In the Green Bay schools served by our college readiness program, almost two-thirds of the student population falls into the ‘lowest income’ category, which indicates there is a significant need to help local students access higher education.
Our volunteers help us encourage students and inspire change right here in our community.
